Church Partners for Life

Life Network is offering exciting opportunities to you and your congregation in 2010 to Lead with Love so that lives are saved and protected in Central Missouri.

Our goal is for supportive churches to respond to at least one of these opportunities in the coming year to advance life. We are providing our plan of activities in advance for you to prayerfully consider the one or combination of activities that best inspires your congregation.

Honor the Sanctity of Human Life in a worship service.

· Share a sermon on the value God places on each life He creates.

· Collect a love offering and needed supplies for Life Network

and other organizations promoting the sanctity of life and alternatives to abortion.

· We encourage you to honor life at key times of the year such as Sanctity of Human Life Sunday on January 24, 2010 and Mothers Day on May 9, 2010.

Promote the ministry work of Life Network.

· Create a missions window at a worship service or in small group meetings to expose your church to the ministry and opportunities for involvement at Life Network.

· Add Life Network news into your bulletin announcements.

· Provide online links to us from your website or email communications.

· Refer people to our clinic through displaying brochures and information in your church office, lobby or directories.

Participate in annual fundraising events.

· Host a table for your church leaders and congregants who have a love for life at our 19^th Annual Banquet and Silent Auction on Thursday, March 11, 2010.

· Order baby bottles for your church families to collect change, cash and checks as a special fundraiser for the Baby Bottle Campaign. The 2010 campaign is planned to kick off on Mothers Day.

· Recruit teams of walkers and sponsors of all ages for the Walk for Life on September 25, 2010.

· Encourage Christian business leaders to contact us about underwriting and advertising opportunities in our local community.

Include or renew an annual pledge gift to Life Network in your 2010 church budget.

· The 2010 annual fund goal is $200,000. The annual fund includes the costs of facilitating needed medical services, education and resources for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies at no charge.

· These funds will help us meet essential program goals in 2010 such as facilitating increased hours and staffing at our medical clinic (My Life Clinic), updating our parenting curriculum, cultivating network partnerships, and strengthening our abstinence and post-abortion help initiatives.

· Giving options are available online by going to the Donate page. Annual pledges can be satisfied as one-time or monthly gifts.

Pray for our ministry.

· Commit to pray for our client and organization prayer needs and requests.

· A Prayer Warriors Report is emailed weekly to those who have agreed to intercede for us on the frontlines.

To create a real partnership with you, I would like to share the ways that Life Network is committed to
assist you and your church.

Free services at My Life Clinic in Columbia.

· It is highly likely you will encounter women or families experiencing crisis pregnancies, given that about ½ of all pregnancies are unintended and about ½ of those end in abortion. A staggering 57% of women seeking pregnancy help at our clinic are identifying a Christian or Catholic background.

· Our clinic provides professional medical consultation, pregnancy tests and ultrasounds under the supervision of a licensed physician. These services are critical to help women understand their alternatives to abortion. Clients are served with unconditional love and respect without regard to age, ethnicity, income, marital status, or religious beliefs.

Sharing information on your Church and relevant ministry programs to our clients.

· All new clients receive a Church Referral List of top-supporting churches on their first visit. (We serve an average of 9 new clients each week!)

· Our goal is to connect clients with supportive Christian communities for spiritual guidance and growth.

Assistance with presentations on Sanctity of Human Life and our local mission work.

· Sample sermons and outlines on the Sanctity of Human Life are posted as links on our website.

· We would love to add to our website a copy of your sermon outline or a link to your sermon audio/video file on the value of life!

· Speakers from Life Network are available to give presentations customized to your theme, audience, or time period. A team of Life Ambassadors is being assembled to share testimonies of what God has done through our ministry when they experienced a personal need. Advanced notice required.

Communication showing how your participation is saving lives and protecting futures.

· We give frequent updates on how your involvement is impacting the local community through our exciting monthly e-newsletters, website, special events and mailings.

· Your church’s support for life may be recognized on our website, in our Annual Report, and in other reports delivered to our supporters (circulation 2,200).

Prayer for your church leaders, events and special needs.

· We have a tremendous team of Board, staff and volunteers who desire to lift you and your church’s needs to God in prayer.

Additionally, you receive the satisfaction of knowing that you are faithfully investing in a ministry that impacts lives for generations and for eternity.
